God led Matt, his wife Beth and their three boys, Matthew, Andrew and Nathan to Liberty Baptist in August of 2008. In May of 2009, Liberty Baptist voted to call Bro. Matt Grimes to become pastor following Pastor Anderson's announced retirement in 2010. 

Matt Grimes enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, running and watching sports. He is an Atlanta Braves fan but loves the University of Tennessee Volunteers.

I praise the Lord for His goodness in my life and the opportunity to serve Him at Liberty Baptist Church. Doris and I both are from the Atlanta area and we met as young teens and have been married for 33 years. We have one daughter, Heather who is actively serving God. I was saved along with my wife Doris in 1975 in our home after Doris visited a church as a result of the bus ministry.

We trusted Christ when presented the gospel on a follow-up visit. Immediately we began serving in the church and then God called us into full-time work. I started in 1980 and have served in 3 different churches in the last 40 years. The Lord has given us many souls and it has been a blessing. We are excited about serving the Lord at Liberty and what He has in store for us!

 Roger met Donna and they were married in May of 1971. Roger and Donna Prillhart have been in the Ministry since 1971.

The Prillharts have two sons David and Aaron. David, his wife Elizabeth, and their granddaughter live in Haines City, Fl., Aaron serves in the Army Reserves. Aaron and his wife Joanna just had their second child.

Daniel and Taketha came to Liberty when they were in high school.  They both graduated from Atlanta Baptist College and have served in various ministries including the Bus ministry, Children's Church and as Youth Pastor.  They are currently teaching the College & Career Life Group and the 3rd-5th grade Children's Church.
